I have a dentist friend who would like to do some volunteer work at a dental clinic. I met some dentists a few years ago in Flores who did volunteer every year in Belize and raved about their experiences. Does anybody know anything about this? Thanks.

Have him check out belizemissionproject.com. Our group has been doing dental work in many parts of Belize for the last 13 years. We base out of AC and have clinics in San Pedro, Caye Caulker, Valley of Peace, Sarteneja, and others depending on the need. Our trip is usually around the end of October. This is also the group that this year arranged for the large shipment of medical supplies to equip the new medical clinic in SP. I'm leaving tommorrow for AC and will be looking forward to see the progress on the new supplies and equipment. Last October we were able to work in this beautiful new building but it was almost completely empty. We couldn't even get a band-aide when it was needed. Hopefully that won't be a problem any more for the people on AC.
