For SAGA supporters interested in delivering any of these Non-Prescription Veterinary Items from the United States, I would be happy to work with Dr. Heather and assist in their acquisition. If you'll pay for the items, at my wholesale clinic cost, I'll order and ship to you for delivery. I'll cover shipping expenses to you(within reason of course). I'd love to see SAGA get some of these items on a regular basis without having to face the import delays. If interested, email me direct at yakivet@nwinfo.net and we'll work out the details. Dr. Ken

Thanks Wendy. I hope someone takes me up on it. I just figured that for the average person, some of these specific items on the list are a little hard to get. --and I've only got so much room in my suitcase during my trips down. Dr. Ken

Yakivet, I will contribute $100 US if you will decide what is the most beneficial to the SAGA, and make those purchases for me. I will PM the shipping info, and we will be leaving August 16 for San Pedro. I will be most happy to take as much as I can from anyone else who would like to contribute. I also have my Vet here offering a few items, and will be buying collars and toys and treats as well, so the smaller items would work best. I also take items from our hospital as well, so my luggage will be pretttttyyyy full. I take a huge one for donations, and a witty bitty one for my clothes. But, love helping out, so no problems. Let me know where to send the check, please.

Last year we, 2 in our party were vets, brought alot of vet supplies, mostly heartworm preventative and assorted non-DEA controlled drugs. Most were confiscated at Customs in Belize City even though we told them what the intended purpose was. You may consider not declaring anything in that I think that was our downfall.

XIIthMan,
You may wish to contact SAGA prior to travelling and ask them for a letter confirming that the items you are bringing are donations for their clinic. That has worked for me although I can't be sure it would work every time.

I have a brand new TriTronics E-collar I would be happy to bring with me when we come in August. It was for my chocolate lab/duck hunting buddy. He became suddenly ill and had to be put down last month.
