TQ, I agree with you, that second paragraph I am sure most do not care about and it's quite funny and infomative of Mr. Sherlock.
Good point Shelock on the first part, I don't think most drinks at starbucks are made with coffee, but with espresso. Then again, don';t they have more drinks these days with no coffee products period!!! LOL I was shocked the last time I went back and saw alll these funny smothie and other drinks.

Turkish coffee is very strong and served in a very small cup. It is the consistency of San Pedro street mud. Can't understand how the Turks can dissolve twelve cubes of sugar in the slurry.

Gone fishing!!

So, if you are not a fan I'd say stay away period or one might become a pumpkin spiced walking latte.
sherlackdog, how sweet of you to be concerned.

Still, you must practice up on your reading skills, as I am certain that I gave burnt tasting coffee as "one of the several reasons I'm not a Starbucks fan." Most of the other reasons are political and probably really not worth discussing, (as an aside< all their coffee tastes burnt to me.) I'm not a big cappuccino or latte fan, although I've been known to make my own, and there is that one exception noted. I don't do the scone/muffin thing, having the unsubstantiated opinion that Starbucks doesn't bake any better than they roast and brew coffee. Plus, I'm just not an early morning breakfast kinda gal. And, in deference to your concern re: my calorie intake, a Pumpkin Spice Latte with nonfat milk, no whip has 290 calories. So, your kind advice notwithstanding, I'll keep enjoying my occasional seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte and I encourage you to keep enjoying whatever it is you enjoy - in moderation of course. wink

Ah, thanks klc. Not to worry, the cocaine really suppresses my appetite. And if the need arises I'm sure Gay will share the name of her plastic surgeon with me and a little lipo will take care of everything! laugh
