I posted some service costs and bandwidth for comparison. Anyone with an intrest can contact me on my address below. I can't quote a given system as everyones needs are differnet. You might get by with a smaller dish, but I insist on a 1.8m (6ft) dish in the area. Smaller dish will work, but with reduced performance. In areas of low signal, one dish one service. Dont expect TV and internet on one dish, you may find someone to do it but performance with suffer somewhere on one side or the other. For example, a dishnet system will provide TV and Sirius radio though the DishnetTV but no internet. There are Direcway(now HughesNet) on SP now and working well for many years.

There's a 6000 on SP over 6ft dish running 130kbps upload/1000kbps down. I ran some Skype calls over it about a year ago, it actually ran better then my system here at the time. I've since upgraded my system here to a 7700 with 512/2000kbps service. And we have an iDirect system that works even better for VoIP, Skype and Net2Phone.

6000 is what I've got with a 2 foot dish. I do have the cheapest subscription, and they squeeze me down after about 160 MB a day.
My Signal Strength now is 70.
Will have to look into that 7700!

The 7000 system came out after that and now the 7000s, all the same. The fap increases with service levels. A 6ft dish and a 2watt Tx makes things move along very well.
