Harriette - Thought I would switch to "chat". I am staying (I think) at Ruby's. Will be in town on business. Mostly involves setting up my caretaker with needed items. Hoped to find some board members as I will be traveling alone.
I am 50ish, female and retired.
Let me know if you would like to meet.

Hi Tincup
I'd love to meet you. I'm a little older, female and retired too. I'll be in on the 31st. How long are you staying? Do you dive?
I'm setting up a calendar to meet people - would love to add you.
cool

I will only be there from 1/28 to 2/1 (leaving 2/1 on the afternoon flight to Miami). What time do you get in on 1/31? I am thinking of heading over to BC's in the early evening on Friday to see if any expats are there. Would like to meet some folks who live there and get their advice. We are building north of the cut. I'm sure there is much to learn from those who have gone before me.

OK - I've marked my calendar for BC's for Friday night the 31st.
What's considered early evening? Last year I waited from 8:00 to 9:00 for some people only to find out later that they arrived at 9:30 and thought that was close enough to 8 to count. hummmm
Will BC's supply nametags or should we bring our own? Or maybe descriptive hats?

Yes, Peter, I'll bring you a round of Brie. Do I have to declare, sneak it into the country or is it perfectly legal? I'm sure you have the water crackers to go with it. Or do you call them biscuits?

Scubaldy, Most expats will be at BCs on Friday evening. Evening meaning 5:00 til 7:30 or so. Only tourist and locals after that. FYI
