With all do respect to you and the board, what are our chanced of getting a chat room. That way, we do not have to go round and round within the posts. AC-online, or AC-messenger. I for one would be willing to pay a monthly fee. That way when we get into these converstations, we wont be draw out of the original topic. Just an idea or suggestion.
This way there will be no sarcasism among the people that really need info and the negative posts wont be as high, cuz it will all be deleted. Thanks, Jackie

I have been thinking about it. Cuz, there are times when you just want to be like hey, ask a question or say something, then you get into all of this. Plus, if people do not know us, they may really be turned off from the board. Was it the day we were playing YO-YO?

that's a great idea. many of the really negative posts are very contra-productive trying to promote Belize and her people. A chat room would be great. Recently, many of the potential tourists and travelers have been reading these negative, over blown-up posts that do not reflect the land, waters and the Belizean people. What stuns me is when a business man or woman would bring out such dirty-laundry on a international website. Best-Wishes To All, Mel S...

Those of you who want to have your own private chat room, a suggestion:
Vote on whether you'd like to use MSN Instant Messenger or Yahoo! Messenger as your chat program. Open up your accounts. Make a private room called "Ambergris Chat Room" or similar. Don't worry about imposters trying to come into the room...even if someone like that gets in you can ignore or block them out. Do bear in mind, though, that geniune members of the chat room ought to be allowed to vent steam, argue and be genrally up front with their opinions...only block out a member if he/she becomes out of controllably abusive/insulting.
n.b. I'd opt for the Yahoo! software. My vote goes there.

MSN my preference, but ya can't open "private rooms" there - people can only be "invited" to a conversation - IMs's are not quite the same things as a "room" -- sure it would work, but not as seamlessly or as user friendly.

was really hoping a chatroom could be integrated here, to slip in and out of as the need arises. I didn't really want to leave this site to go to a chatroom, but thanks Chris.

In Yahoo! you can have private rooms. Problem with Marty doing a chat room is that HE has to pay for the server space so that WE can let off steam...not really fair on him.
