has any one had trouble bringing their pets back from belize to the U.S.A.,?

No problem at all. You need to have the critters seen and certified healthy by a vet prior to your flight (the more recent the better). Customs asked to see the documentation on the animal's vaccinations and that was it...they didn't even peek in the carriers to see what was in there.
