Chloe!! How could you say such a thing? You know I didn't watch you from afar. And as far as stand you up, you knew I was supposed to be delivering Xmas presents to the kiddies.

Actually, I was the one that was stood up, but not by Chloe. When I realized that my friend wasn't going to show on time, I ran over to the Hideaway. I'd missed the gang by more than a few minutes. I ran over to the Sunbreeze. I had just missed the gang, they'd traipzed off somewhere. I called and left messages everywhere but I guess Chloe was too indignant towards me for missing Xmas dinner. We never did hook up.

If I ever saw you, Chloe, I didn't realize it was you.

Just kidding Seashell......Bill took us for a long Purple golf cart ride all over town to see the Christmas decorations, sorry we missed you.

Oh on vacation I do not touch a telephone ever.
I leave a message at the front desk, if Hubby or others calls, tell them I am ok.

Was the Hideaway torn down? If yes, why was it torn down? I know it was an older structure, was the concrete starting to falling apart? BTW, is epoxy coated rebar available/used in Belize?

I'm going to miss the place too! Spent many a good evening listening to music and drinking the nite away, some evenings i remember and some are foggy at best. Hope i can locate Casey and the gang if i get there again this summer.

Lived there several months. Entertainment I will miss:

1) the racoon families begging at my front door
2) the bats feeding at sundown
3) the late night extra-curricular activities in the pool

(don't worry . . . I'll never tell.)

Stayed at the Hideaway for the past 10 years..Looking back at some of the old Pix we will have to go some to beat the good times we had there. Falling down stairs with a tray full of Rum an Cokes.Falling downstairs after drinking a tray full of rum an Cokes.The Bar-B-Q's... A "Pirate Drink" mixed by the Pirate.Rinsing my scuba gear in the horse tank. Swimming and playing with the local kids in the pool.But what I will miss the most is the Mis matched linouloum, crazy paint jobs and general Funk that gave the place that "just like home" lived in feel..You dont get that in a new sterile condo-hotel.Sorry to say it seems to be the direction San Pedro is going now.
