More good news ....... Kim Whitehead, a high school principal in the Sharpstown district, has 56 cases of "new books" for the RC elementry school in San Pedro ! I think she has something on someone ! Now I am trying to get them to the island for her. Kim, THANK YOU FOR YOUR EFFORT !

PS, Kinda makes some of us feel a little guilty. If we all made the effort as Kim did, we would be a lot closer to providing a lunchroom and meals for thoes same kids. We are feeding their minds as well as their little bellies.

Havingfun, My dictionary defines "A Couple" as, married, living together or in an intimate relationship, soooooo.......

Ha! Ha! Ernie, I wanted to surprise you. Not gonna give you a chance to "bust my chops". Now tell me why a "couple" gets such a deal over us single folks? We're always getting charged that "single supplement" when traveling. I think we would make more money if we upped the couple price and what do family memberships cost? $$$$ for the kids.

WJ, the dues were set during the first meeting 2 years ago, by the members. It may or may not be fair. If the members want to adjust the dues, all you need to do is get a majority to say so. The dues were set low intentionally so as not to scare anyone away. Charter members dues cannot be increased as per the voting members. It's a good thing you sent yours in early, I was looking forward to "busting your chops".  Oh yeah, A couple and a family (kids under 18) are the same, $35.00

SOB, SOB. No checks today. We are still $49,015 short! Don't make me start a list of names. We have a little joint that we go to every morning and drink coffee, that put all the returned/bad checks on the wall, so ......... you do not want on that list. (I'll stoop to any level to raise money for this cause)
