Happy New Year all! Still raining cats and dogs here in Northern Calif.

Denny: That would be cool if we broke off into an island in the Pacific! No flooding, but tons of snow in the Sierras - too bad you can't get up there from here!

Hi Hope: Aloha and Haoli Makahiki Hou (think that is how you say Happy New Year in Hawaiian). Think you guys are the last to ring in the new year after us on the west coast. Talked to my friend in Kahana last night for a couple of hours. He says they are getting lots of rain lately too.

Grilling steak and shrimp here and having a glass of good Merlot. Decided to let Jose Cuervo take a rest tonight!
