hi all===

i previously stayed in hopkins area and would like to go back. i'm thinking the last two weeks in june but this time i'll be alone & can't afford to stay at beaches and dreams.

can anyone recommend a small, budget, free standing house or cabana with kitchen/ette and a porch on the beach? i am also hoping to work out something a little better than a day to day rental price by staying a full two weeks.

i am going to write to some of the places on the hopkins website but i thought folks might be able to recommend a place not on that list.

Tipple Trey Beya Inn sounds perfect for you. The owner Patricia has both rooms and a little place with kitchenette. On the beach. Nice place. Us$20 to $40 or so.

I agree completely with Tipple Tree... I also stayed at B&D on my first trip to Hopkins,then moved to Tipple Tree on the following trips, for budget reason, and because it is more central... A great place !... I loved B&D and visit every time I am down there, but Tipple Tree is now my place...
