I live part of the year near Tyler, TX. The winters are better then Indiana but SP they are not. It is pretty around Tyler, rolling hills, green, lakes, trees, ect.
Don't think anyone touched on the culture shock of moving to TX. I always thought of myself as pretty conservative but, in TX I am a liberal!! I was stunned, at first. Getting kind of use to it now. I love all the odd folks in SP and on this board, decided I could grin at some Texas folk too. Figured I never met anyone just like me, and folks have been tolerating my ways. Govikes: I know it is WAY BETTER DOWN THERE! Don't know what I am going to do yet as far as relocating, if even that. Job situation here sucks for now.

As far as returning to Belize, I booked a trip to Panama - Bocas del Toro Islands over Turkey Day. I have heard great things about it and always wanted to go. Come on down - you said you wanted to take advantage of travel in Central America! There are just too many darn places I want to go, so Belize usually is every other vacay! Italy is on the list too. And, San Antonio, Texas!

Oh Barbara K, I thought you lived in SP. Where do I come up with these ideas? I have a friend who is a travel agent, she gets the hell out of Dodge and her clients don't even know she is gone. Call forwarding!!!! I lived in Northern Wisconsin - now that was hell on earth. Get out as soon as you can.
