Capt Jeff, my best wishes to you. My Mom has battled cancer and so far, she is the winner. I think that your positive attitude goes a long, long way. You will beat this, no doubt. I can safely say that you are such an inspiration to all of us here with your big heart, great attitude, and your glowing perspective on life. It is a privilege to read your posts. Personally, I thank you too for giving me perspective today as I recently went through plastic surgery and have been sitting around the house feeling down about whether or not I did the right thing....thanks for the reminder of what is important..to live life, live the dream, and enjoy the ride along the way! Bless you!!

I learned a long time ago (in the 70's) that life is short & to live it to the fullest. It came back to me big time in 1991 and yes what is important is to live life, live the dream & enjoy the ride along the way. Regardless of Cancer, HIV/AIDS, MS, Parkinsons, etc., etc., etc., it is MIND OVER MATTER!!! ATTITUDE, ATTITUDE, ATTITUDE! And you definitely have the Attitude. You will do well & it was fun meeting you in July and hope to "live the dream" with you in San Pedro again soon!

Thank all of you ,above ..I love my board friends.. you make every day a living the dream day...I am making a hug list so when I will return to sanpedro..I will personally give you all a hug ,the girls I will kiss,and hug..and if I get lucky who know what more ?? ..Sorry girls that was the devil in me coming out.. love you all ..love you all...

Cpt Jeff, get well and stay well to live the dream. I know very well, how much the messages from our Board friends mean to you. It is so special to receive warm wishes from friends you have met and some you have yet to meet. I've been the recipient of warm messages during my husband's and grandson's illinesses. SO UPLIFTING, on a different level than home friends and relatives. God be with you, to hold you up until you can hold yourself up. I bet standing still is most difficult for you, I perceived you to always be in perpetual motion, living the dream.

Capt Jeff...I posted to you about this subject already under a different heading, and at the risk of being redundant, I want to wish you all the best with your health issues. I deal with my children's chronic health issues and I know how stressful it can be. Be well and heal up! I think it's all about attitude and yours is great!
