Hi there. The October trip was a blast. Met two new best friends, Christine and Cathy. Hung out with them, Nancy, aka Cozmo and Susie, aka Govikes the majority of the week. Although Govikes made herself scarce toward the middle of the week. What happened to you girl?
Calendar Girl signing, snorkeling with Tulu not once but twice, snorkeling, fishing and beach BBQ with Ocean Adventures, Caye Caulker, shopping and lunch in Belize City, margarita party at the condo, birthday party at Canucks, and a Thanksgiving meal thrown by the Canadians at Crazy Canucks. My dance card was full. Unlike my normal AC habits, I did not make it downtown at night to frequent the bars. My ars was too tired after the all day running. But I'm sure I didn't miss much. Oh, and I almost forgot the golf cart tour to the south end of the island. We got as far as we could go and as we were driving through a small pond, the golf cart quit. Thank goodness there were two workers that were attempting to fill the small pond with dirt. They came to our rescue!! Once they got the cart running again, I threw a $10 US at them and told them to go enjoy a few beers.
The morning we left, we all gathered at BCs for a few going away cocktails. With long, sad faces, JBird walked Cathy and I to Tropic Air and threw our sad butts on the plane.
Cathy will be back before I, but I hope to get back around February.
