Sometimes People only go by what they have read/heard/raised with and that is what they stand by. Wrong, yes, but that is the way with alot of issues not just pot. I feel that if you have not experianced something first hand one should be careful as to expressing an opionion. Just my opioion for what it is worth.

Read the book REEFER MADNESS by Eric Schlosser...fascinating (hic - had to add that one to lighten things up a bit) This is the same guy that wrote FAST FOOD NATION. An excellent read no matter what side of the fence one is on.

One of my cop buddies who is all for legalizing weed said that full legalization will never happen until impairment(motor vehicle operation and such) can be measured. Decriminalize it for sure yes as is in the case in a few places. No reason to rot in jail and get butt-reamed for having a spliff.

I have never experienced murder, war, abortion, etc deacon but I surely should be able to express a strong opinion about any and all!

cb - your friend makes sense. again, driving under the influence of anything should still be highly discouraged. agree on decriminalize.
