Dinner will be seasoned pork roast, pre-seasoned at the meat market. Hope it's good. First time with it done that way.
The rest is kinda traditional, circal, potatoes, applesauce, etc. Just good eating.

Traditional Mexican food with a little extra enhancement from Marty's coconut oil. My Pintos stir-fried with Cilantro, serrano peppers, in Coconut oil were great! Almost as good as Belize! Also tortillas fried in coconut oil are extra yummy! As I say every New Year's EVE the diet starts in the morning. laugh laugh

Okay- When's lunch? I never understood the Blacked Eyed Pea and Greens thing and I lived in Georgia for 32 years! Just always a tradition. The Blackeyed peas represent luck and the collard greens money. I don't which sounds better - Mexicana's traditional Mexican Fare or Grace's yummy Stone Crab claws? Actually a combination of all of it works for me.

It's hard to get collards or Stone crab claws here in Denver but there is a little Mexican joint that serves Mayan dishes such as salbutes, tamals, garnaches and such so I think that will be lunch today! Reminds me of the street food in Ambergris Caye so it will work!!!

Collard greens, red beans and rice, cornbread and ham. Happy New Years to all. Had THE best new years eve. Made a fire and stayed home with my 5 year old. At the stroke of midnight popped open some sparkling grape juice in what looked like a wine bottle so my son thought he was really drinking something he shouldn't have, even put it in a wine glass. Listened to all the gunfire (bad tradition here) and looked at PBS all night (porgy and bess, some group from Canada, and ELO real late at night). Wishing a better 2003 to those that need it, better health, better relationships, better faith...
