Oh yeah, I'm so in! Now, where did I put that brush?

A mechanic warned me about the oil bath. He said since the sand here is loaded with salt the oil just gets the salty sand stuck to it and the rust starts. He recommends simple washing. Any other thoughts on this?
I agree about the power wash - breaks something every time.
