Hi, I thought as a newbie to this board I'd share some of my dive logs from Belize! I cover about a dozen dive sites between Ambergris Area and Lighthouse, most of it written as a kind of personal log, but you might get some ideas about where to ask the DM to take you!

Both trips I dove with Aqua Dives. They did a fine job. Just thought of this now, but I do recall from hanging out in their gear room that the rentals are a bit tired-looking - not that you'd ever want to rent gear (except tanks + weights)....

Saturday I enjoyed two fabulous dives with Chuck & Robbie's Dive Shop. Esmeralda was fascinating. We decended into a school of large nurse sharks and then headed through the canynons. Slipping through crevices and floating over coral head we noticed twin spotted eagle rays gliding by. A hawksbill turtle was taking an interest in us and then started to feed on the coral. Great dive! Tuffy was next and just as great!

Chuck & Robbie's is a lot of fun, small, personal, good gear.

I think C&R have to be the most personable dive shop i have dove with in 20 years. They make it fun and they cater to you. They WANT your business and that is the way it should be.

Customer service has really gone by the wayside.......in a lot of places. But not with them!!
