A big round of applause for Debbie Cooper for helping folks here on this site. Her advice is thoughtful and suggestions are the best. She knows what she is talking about.

You might want to check out the hotels that have pools, Iguana Reef Inn and Seaside Cabanas. They are both in the center of the village as well. Just google them.

Well, I checked airlines, they usually change Web Deals on Sunday/ Monday. Now they are having a sale from Miami and Houston to Belize, $118 one way on Taca, The other airlines are a bit more. Continentals web deals site was temp. down for posting of new deals. You really have to check things out weekly.
Thanks Dane for the kind words.

Cooper, thanks for all your help. We're in NC so a ride to Atlanta for a cheap flight might be our best bet. I'm sure I'll run something down! If you happen to hear of anything- Anyone!- I'll appreciate the tip! Hope to see you all soon!

Haven't been there for 2 years but stayed in "Banana Cabana" the first time I was there. Last time they were enclosing the lower area...presumably to create another rental. You're gonna love Caye Caulker...I'm jealous!

Glad to hear all is well and Dean didn't come ashore and cause any major damage for you all! When will CC be ready for visitors? Still planning for the end of Septmember if you're open for business!

I stayed there and was very happy with the place and as far as groceries they are few LOL they locals make great food and why cook on vacation. I hope you have a great time and go see Frenchie for watersports.

Caye Caulker is up and running, ready for visitors now, all I can see is a bit of seaweed and beach cleanup, but even that is not bad.
