I hear the south side of town has swimable beaches. Anyone been to a resort close to town that has water that can be entered from the beach and not just a pier? What resort?

Playador/ExoticCaye Resort south of town(within waling distance) has a beach you can get into the water from - no seawall. Several south of this also have entrable beaches without seawalls.

Ramon's also has a good beach, and it's near town.

There is a small piece of beach to the south that not only has a nice walk in beach but also a surf. Its adjacent to one of the cuts in the reef. The full surf gets through the cut and on through to the beach. Ya can take ya woodie, boogy board and hang ten all day.

Bill....WHAT in the world are you talking about? Surf? Oh good grief, I about fell out of my chair with that "boogie board" thing. However....you HAVE been dead on so far on most things, so please tell me...in front of which property is San Pedro's answer to "Surf City"?

Oh yea of little faith. Please refer to this web site under The Island and in the section under San Pablo, please find the paragraph about Mar De Tumbo or Tumbling Sea. Its a public beach area on the other side of San Elmo. Collect ya chips, Chloe.
