I agree Travelqueen. We don't want anyone to get the wrong
impression because this, indeed, is a unique situation with
Island Tours Golf Carts not A.C. If the BTB knows that thousands are aware of this situation, the pressure may be on and a solution expedited.

the situation may be unique, but I have to admit I had no idea I could be prevented from leaving the country if involved in a dispute w/ a Belizean company, even if the dispute involved an unsubstantiated or trumped up charge. I too sent my email expressing concern over this situation.

I think they should counter suing for all the aggrivation, ruining their vacation, flight changes, hotel fees, baby sitting fees, lost wages and charging their CC without permission. I'm sure they're considering it...!!!

Mine has been sent. I understand that this is only one business and does not represent the rest of the island or country but you know how news spreads. Good news spreads but bad news spreads faster. Heck, if I listened to the news, I wouldn't visit because I'd be afraid of being bitten by monkeys!

Of course, I'll continue to come down, it's just that others may think twice.
