Well, on the bright side, Ohio State did not tarnish it's perfect 0-9 record in bowl games against teams from the Southeastern Conference. whistle

Good morning all,
I am in Ohio, dark and gloomy Ohio, eating crow and drinking salty tears of defeat.
The kittys turned out to be ragin Cajun big cats, all praise to LSU.
I still love my Buckeyes, and as a true Buckeye fan, all I can say is " maybe next year!!"

Sadly I whimper go bucks

It's okay windyw -- we took what was supposed to be a rebuilding year (losing the Heisman trophy winner and 3 first rounders, fielding a first-year starting QB)and played in the National Championship game for the second year in a row and going 11-2.

Hats off to LSU who deservedly won as the better team, but methinks about 100 of the 118 D1-A teams wouldn't mind being as successful as our Buckeyes.

Exactly, E!! Otter, having two of those gaudy crystal footballs would have really screwed up the feng shui in the OSU trophy case!! shocked

Thanks E and KC -- you guys are great pals (I think) wink

Last post on topic for me (I have to out of bed and find a reason for living again -- like AC next month and buying that Texan a jaeger shot).

Congrats LSU!
