Any news from cell phone?

Has anyone at all been able to get through to a cell phone in the past hour or two? I know other service is out. Just wondering if satellites are blocked.

Have been trying but am getting "out of service area or not turned on" message for around 2 hours now. Am only trying one particular number.

I have been trying (from States) 4 cell numbers on SP for the last 2 hours- no answer either
