We recently spent a week at Royal Palm and had a wonderful experience diving with Amigos del Mar. While they are located "in town" they will pick you up each morning at the Royal Palm dock at 9 am for diving. After the 1st dive the surface interval is at the Amigo's dock for fresh coconut/pineapple/melon and sodas, then the 2nd dive. After which they deposit you back on the dock at Royal Palm. If you want them to, they will rinse and store your gear overnight. You can't beat it! The dive masters are quite knowledgable and experienced - - it was like having a personally guided tour of the reef. We really maxed our time. We even went with Amigos to the Blue Hole. We highly recommend them. And the price was fair, too.
