No Obama would not be the nominee if he were not black,just like GWB would not be of any importance if he were not the son of GHWB.Life isn't fair just the way it is.

I believe that what I do with my body is my business.
I believe the greatest responsibility we have with our tax dollars is to provide a public school education that prepares young people with the adequate tools to succeed in life i.e. the fact that we as a country remained silent while our children were taught abstinence only sex ed will be later recalled as our greatest failing ( a close tie with No Child Left Behind)
I believe that some day, America will live up to its promise and truly be a color-blind society. We are not there yet.
I think it is a great disappointment to me that my childhood fascination with John Wayne is diminished by his well documented racism. I will give him a pass though as a) it was a different time and this position was not unique to him and b) Rooster Cogburn was an awesome movie.
I believe that those who make the most money should pay the highest tax rate. ( Warren Buffet is with me on this one)
