Hello to all, new to this board. We will be coming to Ambergris Caye in March of 09 for two weeks. Would like info on local fishing either from shore, charter boats, or local piers. Also, is there anyplace on the island that rents fishing tackle? What species should I look for from the beach and boats that time of year? Any info appreciated. Also, is any fishing license required?

I second Jeff. The wife and I used Steve and caught lots of snapper. The captin cleaned them for us and we went direct to Wild Mango and had them cooked up. It waas the best day out of the sven we were there.

You can not beat that,ice cold beer ,eating lots of fresh caught fish ,The Warm sun ,looking out to the reef from a beach view.. NOW THATS LIVING THE DREAM BIG TIME..
