Dreadfully dry. Rattlesnakes get into the outdoor jacuzzi looking for water. 2 this summer.

scary - my boss' terrier got bit by a rattlesnake 2 weeks ago - he survived, snake didn't - bad season for them everywhere I hear

FYI, there is a vaccine for snake bite. It does not make the dog immune to the venom. It slows the reaction time down giving more time to get the animal to a vet and treated.
