I was so worried they were going to make the island out to be a sleazy place...the images are wonderful, and even though the story line is silly,(although curiously interesting) I can't wait to watch again to see where they let them go. I'm wondering if they'll be allowed into town, though. They might run into their significant others on their dates...that would be scary. Was anyone there when they were filming and maybe give us a preview?

We had such a good time watching last night!! We were down over Thanksgiving and had a great time. It was LOTS of fun pointing out all the places we had been on OUR island last night.

Can't wait to go back. Jesse, how are the Texas girls doing? Made you any biscuits lately? (Jim will be so jealous!) I've sent them a few emails but haven't heard back.

Can't wait for next week!

Wow! They did an awesome job filming. Great advertisment for Belize. In mather fact I just booked our airfare yesterday for our next trip to AC and this time we also visit the Cayo area. They where also filming at Ian Andersons's Cave Branch for one episode. All our friends and relatives are jeleous. First they thought we where crazy when we bought land in Belize and now after seeing Temptation Island they are all calling us to ask when we will start building so they can come stay with us. Hmmm!

The beautiful, exotic island of Ambergris Caye has always been a temptation island a well kept secret of Belize, long before the show, 'Temptation Island' was filmed there. Ambergris Caye and the other cayes were the islands of romance and love, where lovers find some privacy... The cayes were isolated and mostly a source for fishing, before the islands became a main tourist destination...It was popular among the middle class, upper income, and Belizean professionals that find the cayes a romantic hideaway with their lovers and sweethearts..
Today, its still fascinating and intriguing to many people that find it a hideaway for romance and love...
'Temptation Island' show is fun to watch.. I was so excited and impress to see the beautiful scenery of Belize so beautifully photograph..This is the first time I see a U.S T.V station actually took pictures of beautiful parts of Belize. I am so glad that Fox decided to show the 'Temptation Island' show, even though there were much controversy over the show...
I have read all the beautiful and wonderful comments on Belize that are shared among the people on this message board that find Belize a tropical splendor and a lovely place to visit...Thanks..

I like the new feature of the message board..It is a more appropriate format for safe and friendly discussions..Good luck, and hope everything works out for the best, Marty..Thanks...

Mata Chica's website was traffic triple over normal yesterday. Its actually been building a bit the last week or so, as press releases go out probably....

AmbergrisCaye.com was up 30% over normal yesterday. No doubt due to the Fox show...

even tho they said we have 4 resorts and are 12 miles off the mainland. Am I being picky or what?

its IMPRESSION, not the facts ma'am.

Well, I'm afraid I missed the debut as I was crawling thru traffic from Miami after leaving Ambergris Caye yesterday! I was there during the filming of the show. It was pretty funny to see a goggle of girls and guys followed by a bunch of equipment-encumbered photographers as people bumped and grinded at the Boat Yard! That particular night they also hit Club Iguana so I would love to see the outcome. I think a number of regulars to both places tried to cozy up to the photographers as well. What's a little commercialism, tho. Just so we don't get a Mc Donalds or Magic Kingdon there.

Marty,
I had to laugh at the "4" resorts and 12 miles off-shore myself. Oh well, it still looked sooo inviting. Now some of our friends who have never been there can see what we rave about all the time. Bet they will really be jealous now!!
