Jen,
We stay at Coral Bay and love it. It is far enough away from town but not too far. We love to eat at El patio (if it is still there after Keith) and usually do so at least twice a stay. As for the tours to Lamanai or Altun Ha...we have done both and we really enjoyed them but Altun Ha was a good day. Go with Daniel...he is a wonderful guide and has a good boat.
Also don't miss Elvi's. It was the first place we ate on our first trip and we always go there our first night. The Palapa is a good stopping point going and coming back if you want to see the North part of the island. We went to Capricorn our last trip and it was worth the effort but you need to take a water taxi at night. Have fun!!! I know you will! [Linked Image]

Thanks everyone!

Tammi-we will be there Jan. 30-Feb. 6 so I look forward to meeting you and Ed. By then, we will probably have done most of the planned activities but we can always have lunch or some drinks [Linked Image]
