Liliana Nuñez will represent Belize at Miss America Latina in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in the Caribbean from May 8 to May 25, 2009. The last Miss America Latina was Daniele Sampaio who was crowned by Guatemala's Heidi Garcia. Miss Nuñez will be staying at the Barcelo Capella Beach Hotel in Juan Dolio and one of her activities includes a visit with the President.


Pageants Belize is the official local organization which helps in preparing candidates and coordinates fundraising for Belizean candidates competing at these international events. Liliana has garnered experience at the Reina Internacional del Tropico in Honduras, as well her exposure as Miss San Pedro. She is confident that she will do well in this international competition. We wish Miss Nuñez all the best in her most recent pageantry competition.
