Just back from Banana Beach and we thought it was great. Suites are big (600 sf), clean, well appointed and the staff was wonderful. It's definitely mellow, even with the grpoup of 20+ college students that were there during our stay it was quiet. Plenty of lounge chairs both on the beach and by the pool. Walk to town was a pleasant 20 minute trek along the beach. Taxi ride was about 5 minutes and cost $4-5 US each way. Banana Beach rents bikes, too or they'll arrange for a golf cart rental. Unless you're going to spend a lot of your time driving around and not in the water, the carts aren't worth it in our opinion. Have fun!
