$65 for six pack. That is craaazyy, people! I would never pay that much for beer. Don't care if it was a Trappist Ale of some reserve that was only made once a year. Geez! Our friends have simple (maybe even strange :-) ) taste. I guess if they want Bud, they will have to bring it with them. So, no American beers period?? What about Peroni(italian import)? I know my female friend drinks that...

I have seen a couple of American brands for sale at Brodie's in Belize City. I think Miller was one - it was in a tiny bottle with an outrageous price. But why would anyone waste their money on an American beer?

The owners of Brodies have the import license, so that's the best place to look. Also, see if Premium Wines & Spirits has any imported beer. They also have a license to import.

Ummmm, I wouldn't do that. Our first trip in 2004 they took my husband's Bud. Government web site didn't
tell you that you CAN NOT BRING BEER. Customs did give the case back on our return trip back. Hubby was pretty sad and thought that Bud was all he could drink, ever.
Now five years and 9 trips later he is known as "Belikin Jimmy".

I think Belikin is great, personaly. However, why don't you spend 15 percent more and have everytying in your condo when you get there? I have not made a trip to A/C without going to Lagniappe.

It is easy, the fruit and vegies are normally better or at least as good as you can get while you are there and when you arrive all that you have to do is relax with a rum/Belikin/gin/voldka/...etc.

Simon has our latest order. Best way to go--why do all that heavy lifting, and all those different stores? I know what we ordered will be there Friday, and we will be enjoying a few Belikins on the beach within the first hour of arrival.
