Sorry Susie - I was hit last August (after 27 years of service) - know exactly where you are at. I also know that AC is a great way to heal, so to speak. That's why I'll be there in July again.

As for the new job - hang in there. It's been almost a year for me, but I still have hope.

My girlfriends from Tampa applied for an American Airlines Credit Card and used the award miles for the trip to visit me in A/C (then later canceled the card).... I'm pretty sure that the deal is still available

Thanks AJ - I am excited for your LPN program - what commendable work!! Yes, I have been plotting a trip - I would use my AA miles, and am now deciding should I go immediately? Wait a week? I figure the stress I have endured for a over a year deserves another trip (I can rationalize anything) - too bad Rich won't be here with his jumpers!! I am not sure if goint to Sp would be foolish (I do have some extra $ and have ALWAYS found a job immediately) but maybe I am not being realizstic with the economy. But then again, what I do, there are ALWAYS jobs to be found! Good luck AJ with your program? How long does it last? This time I'm going to CC!
