Can't wait to see all the changes in Placencia in a couple of months. Haven't been there for 5 years, but really liked it when I was there. Very kick back - in fact, I remember spending an entire day chilling in and by a pool and having delicious food delivered right to my raft!

Fact- Katie is a travel specialist of Belize and has a vested interest in the Placencia area.

Fact- I am a hotelier and developer on Ambergris Caye which obviously means I have an vested interest too.

In regards to beaches and easier access for day trips to the mainland, this is Katie's opinion. Not necessarily fact or fiction. I personally prefer Ambergris Caye in both aspects of the above. Again not fact or fiction, only my personal opinion.

And Tulu is the best in the whole universe!!! Worth going to Placencia just to visit him. He taught my mother to snorkel when she was 75 years old. Jusr a very kind person.
