Anyone know the best place to buy burglar bars and what kind of prices we're looking at? We have a lot of windows on our new digs and want to make them more secure. Currently we only have wooden slats that we have to close every time we go out, so would like to install the bars sooner rather than later. Any help would be much appreciated!

I don't know who made them, but Walter (at Pedro's) arranged mine. I paid between Bz$150 and Bz$220 per window to make and fit them, depending on size of window.

I am looking for an updated source for burglar bars in San Pedro.
Are there any businesses that sell "standard sized" burglar bars, ready for install? I've inquired at several hardware stores, to no avail.
I also heard there is a man who makes them near Lino's Butcher Shop & the gas station, but am not sure what side street he resides on? Anyone know - or have a phone number for him?
