I went looking at the member list. I have been a member since 2001. I recognised some names....Silkpainter, Scubalady, Sandcrab, MountainLarry.....I didn't look at all of them...there are way tooo many lol.

oh oops gee whiz - my bad - i may have misspoken - i thought i heard that but oops guess not - my deepest and most sincere apologies. has anyone heard ANYTHING about denny in the last year or so? again sooo sorry for wrong info, everyone.  Jane, I remember that Denny's daughter was posting on this board with updates. The last one was in Feb 2009, when she told us that he was in the hospital with pnemonia. She never gave us an update. thanks, gela, and everyone, for not coming down on me for making a mistake. really appreciate that. after i realized what i said, that quote came to my mind as well. scubaldy is still here & a valuable asset on the board, mt larry still pops on from time to time, and i saw silkpainter on facebook, she writes a blog as well...teenah & bill thornton are on fb too.

Denny Shane is not dead. He is in a nursing home in NJ near his parents and sister. He mostly just watches tv and the people passing by his room. Yes he did almost die last year but is fine or as fine as can be under the circumstances. His strokes were pretty severe and he still has a feeding tube, can't walk, talks a little.
