I don't like those NEW boxes they are putting in , hopefully that will not help with the blocking .

i got a new modem with the upgrades. all my "stuff" works just the same...in fact, bizarrely, they seem to work better.

I'm still waiting to learn on another thread, whether or not one can use MagicJack from Canada to call Belize. Anyone know?

Anyone tried voipbuster.com I use it and it works well calls from your computer to a US landline and cell is free if you want to call using your cell its 15 cents a min basically it calls you on your cell and connects you but obviously calling from your computer is best as its free.

I use voibstunt. I let them connect to my homeline for 5 cents and talk free to England, Australia etc. There are a lot of free place but I only use those two. When I call belize it's 25 cents a min. ..which is just fine because you put up 10.00 and it takes it out of that. It is well worth it for me. Sometimes I talk to my sis for an hour in England.

Successful experiment! I added international calling to my Magic Jack (pay up front in $5 increments)and was able to call from USA to Belize at 22 cents a minute
