Does anyone know how easy it is to get married without prior reservations with someone to perform the cermony(this would only be my fiance and I, not a group of people) and the ceremony doesn't have to be long either. Oh and I already know the requirements (3 days of being there and any papers, etc.). Any idea would be great. My fiance and I are thinking about getting married there (eloping) so just wondering if last minute is do-able. Otherwise planning it won't make it elopeing.

Ginny, It`s not difficult at all to arrange it when you get there. I remarried my ex-wife last May on a whim and it was real easy. If you have any questions I would be glad to help if I can.

I'm getting married there in September. E-mail Iraida at travltour@btl.net. She knows everything there is to know about getting married on Ambergris and how long you need to plan it (she's also a Justice of the Peace - but very busy, so you'd probably need to book her in advance). I think it'll be pretty easy to plan when you get there.
