Wow Punta Girls... loved the pics... not your normal touristy pics! I've seen the same mayan ruins a zillion times.... but your pics are really great!

You all are so nice to say nice things about our pictures. Obviously we had a great time and the people were so wonderful. I really found that when you open yourself up to any new experience and let the people get close to you, you will find wonderful people everywhere. Looking at those pictures makes me laugh and then want to cry because I so badly want to be back there again.
Punta Rebel Girl

Punta Rebel girl is sometimes too friendly. ha ha. I made the picture page on imac.com using their itools. Very easy. Just drag and drop the images. Don't have the underwater ones yet. We did take the salt water fish food with us. We couldn't use it in the reef preserve but we used it snorkeling by our hotel and it really did attract the fish. The food was dried shrimp.

Fun Pix! Was that temple on a different trip to Thailand or Bali by any chance? Now I realy can't wait to get there. 7 weeks and counting.

The Mayan Temple pictures were taken at Altun Ha. It was a day trip that you take a 2 hour boat ride to Bomba Village and then a very fun bus ride to Altun Ha which is a Mayan Ruin Site. Then after you tour the site you get back on the bus and are taken to Maruba Jungle Spa Resort where you can eat lunch, swim, get a massage, go horsebackriding or sneak off with your significant other and explore "nature". Garbonzo and I opted for a 60 minute full body massage, then ordered lunch, swam in the pool until lunch was brought to us poolside, then relaxed until it was time to go. Tough tour, but someone has to do it right? We went with Ricky from SEArious Tours. He was so much fun. He packs a cooler with sodas, beer, rum punch, water and plays the music loud in the boat, and all you have to do is sit back and relax.
Not such a bad way to spend a day in the sun.

Punta Debbie! I finally get to put a face with the "voice" on the board! We've chatted a little on different posts. Great pics! Really cute page, too! I can't wait (40 days and counting). I'm going with my boyfriend--it's a surprise for him. Can't wait to do the punta thing! I think I may have a very hard time getting him back stateside! Yikes! We'll try to put a page together when we get back, too (6/10). Thanks again for all the info and sharing your trip with us! Sharon
