"Expect the unexpected" would be the weather-advice.
For practical matters - if there is a serious high wind threat, BEL will shut down power to the island as a preventative measure, and the sale of alcoholic beverages will be illegal for a while. Phone-lines in and out of the country will get way too busy so try to use the phone tree system internationally. BWS might have trouble supplying water to folks (if you store some now in a plastic garbage can you will have plenty back-up). In an emergency LOVE FM broadcasts 24 hours a day in emergency mode - they do an incredible job.
There is a storm-prep guide posted on Jesse's website - it's too long to post here again, but look it over and you will get a sense of what could/might occur and what to do about it.
If the birds disappear you can count on trouble. I trust them more than any weather-man.
The flooding potential is probably the greatest danger from 92, but we'll see.
