ANy one know the best way for a person to get from Tegucigalpa HOn. to Ambergris Caye. I found a flight on Taca that goes through San Salvador but it cost a bunch. Is that the only choice. Is there another airline that maybe flies direct between HOnd. and Belize?

Maya Island Air / Maya Regional flies between San Pedro Sula and Belize City, then change to a flight to Ambergris with either Maya or Tropic Air.

I just did a round trip to Tegucigalpa in November and its way cheaper by Taca if chosing airline...Also Maya only flies to San Pedro Sula..and the bus to Tegucigalpa from there is 4 1/2 hours...I am going back next week and the ticket on TACA is $345us after taxes...but you must book now because the seats are disappearing

yes, he's right. Maya only goes from San Pedro Sula which is far. Tegucigalpa to BZE on Taca runs high to low $300s one way with tax.
