Elbert, are you taking the water temps only just under the surface? Sure, 80-81 upon entry, but most of my dives were running 75-78 . . .brrrrr . . .I was cold on this trip. All that said, wish I was still there. frown

All the cool air has brought the water temperature down to 79f.and 78f.
It takes a long time for the water temp to change but the persistent cold air has it a little cooler.
Divers are wearing shorties and some long wet suits.

Still 79f. Its slow to change and probably not going to this week with a cold snap on the way.

Summer is here and the water temperature is running 82-83F.
any warmer and we start to have problems with jelly blooms and stress on the corals.
