Elbert, are you taking the water temps only just under the surface? Sure, 80-81 upon entry, but most of my dives were running 75-78 . . .brrrrr . . .I was cold on this trip. All that said, wish I was still there.

Its at depth and I'll let you know what it says after the morning dive Saturday.

All the cool air has brought the water temperature down to 79f.and 78f.
It takes a long time for the water temp to change but the persistent cold air has it a little cooler.
Divers are wearing shorties and some long wet suits.

Still 79f. Its slow to change and probably not going to this week with a cold snap on the way.

Summer is here and the water temperature is running 82-83F.
any warmer and we start to have problems with jelly blooms and stress on the corals.

August 1st and its 83f.
recent rains haven't cooled it much.
almost to warm.
