Came here for the first time 9 years ago and have come back every year except for last year. The people are warm and friendly, the food fantastic and the snorkeling is great! You will love it. You can do lots ot stuff or nothing at all and it is all fun!

Yes it is a great place but this article is full of wrong facts that most likely will mean nothing to yourself anyway.Come and enjoy there is nothing quite like it.

Padennis, I live here, and when you said something about the article being full of wrong facts, I tapped into the blog article, I don't understand? There may be a lack of understanding about the lagoon and the seaward side of the Island. This is a small coral based, sand spit island or broken penninsula inside the Meso-American Barrier Reef in the North of Belize. Ask questions about what you want to know...but otherwise....I suggest you use this board to do more research. We like it. Most of us will be happy to honestly provide information. We also have a lot of fun with each other so don't miss the humor.

Nothing big.. But San Pedro should be the bustling little town not Ambergris caye. On the far north section of the island should be Robbling Rocks not Mexico Rocks. I do not live on A.C. as yourself but have been many times and this will soon be my 2nd home.

I do know Mexico Rocks, but never heard of Robbling Rocks...!!! Is this a joke? Ambergris Caye is bustling..or not. San Pedro is bustling...or not? So what is the problem, especially if you have been here many times??? Do you look who writes these dumb articles? We don't...so don't try to correct the grammar? It's a BLOG! Anybody can write a blog...it isn't an official Belize generated publication....who knows who wrote it?

Have I done anything to put Ambergris Caye in a negative light? I am sorry that I do not know the native language but to myself far north of the island does not mean a couple of miles past the bridge.I stand corrected I meant Robles or Rocky Point.I sort of twisted the 3 together.Having my own North American Belikins at the moment.

GwenA, don't think padenis is the troll. More likely the blog author is AKA evon83 and trying to draw readers to his blog. If that is indeed the case, then to my mind, evon83 would be the troll. Apologies to evon83, if evon83 isn't actually blog author or otherwise related to blog author.
