YES! mini Marina's that's the name I remember! It's a tiny store compared to Mr Joe's but I'm sure it will do just fine. Has the reputation of the big island grocery store by the water distributor changed any these days? I see there is also a super buy in the South area? I always like the Super Buy in the big purple building.

Marina's is brilliant. I do almost all of our shopping there. They have virtually everything and at the lowest prices that I can find anywhere else. If you can't see what you want, ask. They have vast storage space and always seem to be able to pull anything out that you could want or need. Their vegetable selection gets better all the time. If you are looking for more 'luxury' style items, you can just cross the street and go to Superbuy South.

Collyk, are you meaning the Marina's by Xanadu? I like that store too - we shopped there last year when we stayed at Xanadu. Is the new Super Buy south a new building or did it move into an established building? I can't picture where it is but it won't be long and it won't just be a picture in my mind!

Yes, Marina's by Xanadu. Super Buy South is in a new pink/purple building directly next to Antojito's restaurant. You really can't miss it. Brand new building.

YAY! I remember Antojitos so I am SURE I will find it! Either way, Marina's will be one of our first stops - will have to pick up a few things on the way to the house from the Airport.

Great news on the new eatery! We certainly could use a few dining options in that area........It's unfortunate to lose the store side of things. Those last minute beer runs or first arrival necessities will be missed.....We enjoyed the convenience of Mr. Joe's Grocery....
