Tubes of glucose are great for diabetics, however I haven't seen any in Belize. You may wish to get them before your trip here.

Thanks everyone! We've now got options for OJ, several candy bars, peanut butter and glucose tablets! That means that NOTHING bad is going to happen because we're prepared!

Sometimes I pour the OJ into empty plastic water bottles (leaving an inch or so for expansion) and freeze them for travel. Found great fresh refrigerated OJ all over AC which can be used for this purpose.

and there's definitely no shortage of supply of pure sugar in tube form here. I see the kids sucking on them all the time.
