Although not part of AC, does anyone have any recent experience with Manta Resort?

I don't have personal experience, but since management changed a few years back comments on the Internet boards about Manta, and comments from our magazine's readers, have almost all been positive.

Yes, it's wonderful. The reef is amongst the most pristine in our hemishere, small privaet coconut island in the atoll, cabanas have ac and hot water, great diving, very good staff, wonderful meals, kayakaking and they offer 3,4 and 7 nt packages.
You might want to take a look at Blackbird Caye as well. On a larger island in Turneffe atoll with more bilogical diversity and closer to Belize City. Both are wonderful
