The Kindest Kid in San Pedro Award 2012 is coming soon. We've had some incredible offers of sponsorship already such as a trip from Bacab Eco Park and a generous gift certificate from Rico's, but I'm fishing for more. This award is to motivate, acknowledge and reward kindness in the community performed by primary school students. If you'd like to sponsor a prize (there will be a grand prize and a runner up), please let me know by emailing bekindbelize@gmail.com or by sending a private message. With the wonderful assistance of San Pedro High School, the elimination process for the Kindest Kid in San Pedro Award 2012 is completed. This week, the nominations will be published here and in various media outlets and YOU will have the chance to vote. It was very inspiring to see how many schools are committed to promoting kindness and generosity of spirit among their students.

If you'd like to help encourage kindness in San Pedro, consider sponsoring part of the prize for the winner and runner up. Many businesses and individuals are already sponsoring prizes. If you'd like to see the next generation of children in San Pedro become kinder, please consider becoming one of those businesses and individuals and please vote when the nominations appear.
