We were owners at Costa Maya and enjoyed it VERY much. Our time share moved us to Canada.... CANADA!! They said it was comparable. SERIOUSLY? Now, I have nothing against Canada, but comparable to a resort on the beach in Central America...hmmm- no beach, very different weather, major tourist attraction. Nothing comparable about that except they both begin with "C"! We have not used the time share since, any ideas as to what to do with it? Anyone want to visit Canada in exchange for .....???

Yes so sorry for all the owners ,but you could see it comming a shame. I belive time share is the worst investment one could make JMHO.Even if they stay open still the worst.

We knew time shares were not the best investment at the time of purchase. We ended up paying the same as hotel a costs us each year to visit, so we decided to give a chance. We haven't lost money as much as we almost lost our first choice of places to visit. My husband is a little ticked at me because I still insist on San Pedro and refuse to give the resort in Canada a try. But my vacation dollars are reserved indefinitely. Sorry Canada.

Doglady you might be onto something. I might want to go to Canada one day.....

It would be very interesting to know where in Canada, Doglady's time share is located.

Under contract ,so do you think the people that
where sold worthless time share could use the place again
for free??? I would like to see that the chances there are two chances slim and none .But my question is how do countries not just belize but all the others let the scammers
work and not put the crooks in jail??? $$$ there are so many people who drank the cool aid and got suckerd in for big down payments and high pressure sales.As these buyers are some very nice folks .who just wanted to live a better life on the island . And now see the light but way to late
I truly feel for these people not only the folks who got taken at this place but all the other places on the island .A shame as sanpedro can be a wonderful place to live the dream .

I've never understood how a T/S was preferable to just going to the resort of your choosing in the location of your choosing at the time of your choosing...
