Hello everyone and greetings from Seattle, WA
My name is Maureene and I am heading to Belize on the 8th of September for an extended stay. I am looking for a safe, fully furnished, one bedroom with wifi access that is not BTL (as they have a block on skype to my knowledge). I am looking to spend somewhere around $400 per month including utilities. If you have any thoughts or ideas that could aid in my discovery I would be appreciative.

I just graduated with honors from the University of Washington. I am a dependable, honest person, and I am excited to learn and grow while in Belize. I have a passion for history and the arts. I am interested in learning and experiencing different cultures.

The cable company provides internet and another phone company but I think it is all initially provided by BTL. As far as blocking skype etc you just need to find yourself a decent VPN so you can get around the blocking.

I think $400 US a month is a little low for a budget. A more reasonable budget would probably be around $600 US for a place on the island.
