BeBelize - I remember that book. About 20 years ago I found a complete set of six children s books - from Nursery Rhymes through adventures. Anyone remember these in their hardback green covers? Volume I - Nursery Rhymes was falling apart, obviously from being much read. The other volumes in good to excellent condition. When I moved here I gave them to my son for his children. Sadly they never read any of these to their kids. My grandchildren have no idea what I am talking about when I quote poems or riddles. To me this is very sad.
Diane - thanks for the list.

I put the list up Harriete not Diane we read them at school a very long time ago. It is a pity children do not read/understand them today.

I love the Optimist 4-Way Test of things we think or do ......

1. Is it the truth?

2. Is it fair to all concerned?

3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?

4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

Yes, Harriette the churches on the island do care but walking into a church doesn't make you a Christain any more than walking into a garage makes you a car. Also, unfortunatly, my years sharing Jesus on the island have shown me that some of the most honest people don't even go to church. The church has failed in many ways but I believe these things start at home, don't you ?

Yes, I think you would have to be quite the optimist to always answer "yes" to all four.
